Following
the break-up of Egg, Dave Stewart joins a new
incarnation of Khan for which Hillage retains
the services of Eric Peachey, adding bassist Nigel
Griggs (ex-Octopus and Carmen, later in Split Enz)
New material, some of which (such as "I Love Its Holy
Mystery") will be revived on Hillage's Fish Rising
album in 1974, is written and rehearsed

The new Khan breaks up after only a few gigs when
Hillage decides to join Kevin Ayers' band
